Former Westchester County Court Judge Susan Cacace has announced her candidacy for the office of Westchester County District Attorney. Cacace, the longest-tenured County Court Judge in Westchester County, retired from the bench on December 7, 2023.

Cacace, a Republican, is a protégé of former Westchester County District Attorney and Fox News commentator Jeanine Pirro. She made her announcement on December 13, 2023, in front of the Richard J. Daronco County Courthouse and a crowd of nearly 200 people.
